Weight

Weight is the enemy of speed, so the Type R comes from the factory with some weight reducing measures already taken...no sound insulation, lightweight ABS unit, and subtle changes here and there. Next to the Akron Firestone lot is a truck scale, which is on sometimes...and it was the last time we were up there. The car is in autoX trim, with kumho v700 tires on the stock wheels, removed floormats, jack, and spare, and otherwise full interior.
