SpeedBleeders

Matt has a way of finding all kinds of cool stuff for his Type R, and I'm in the advantageous position of learning whether it was worth it or not. These were a real deal it seems, they're replacements for your stock brake bleeder valves that have a ball and spring check-valve to prevent air from entering the lines, even when they're in the open position. You can bleed your brakes without assistance, although it's always helpful to have a pedal monkey on hand to pump the brake while you run around loosening and tightening the bleeders. Check out SpeedBleeder, you'll need two pairs of the SB10125 for the brakes, and it can't hurt to get an SB8125L for your clutch slave cylinder. Don't forget to keep that resevoir topped off when you're bleeding brakes, sucking air into the lines from the top...well...sucks.

Here's a picture of some narrow vinyl hose on the bleeder, with some tasty gatorade holding the old fluid....you can see any bubbles in the hose when you're bleeding the brakes..
