So far, i've got summer (volks), winter (steelies), and AutoX (stock) covered...but now that i'm addicted to the track as well, i wanted to get a set of wheels and tires that would give me alot of bang for my buck at the track. Victoracers stick like the devil, but they'd be a bit expensive for my budget if I raced on the track with them AND autocrossed with them...i don't want to go through 3 sets of V700s per season. The new Falken Azenis is a relatively inexpensive street tire that is getting rave reviews from fellow R owners who say they peform like a hard compound race tire at the track...Matt just got some, and even though it's freezing here right now, they were pretty impressive. John Wagner is killing the competition on them in ST. Mine are on order, will be here soon (look for a tire update)...but i need something to put them on...enter the Rota Slipstream. These wheels are fairly inexpensive (thanks again to Mark at McB for getting these in for me. For about 100 bucks a wheel (a steal by wheel standards), you get a fairly lightweight (12 lbs), very handsome (Spoon SW388 clone) wheel that you could destroy without pulling your hair out. These are gunmetal (a wicked finish, super dark metallic with slight flecks of bronze), 15x6.5, 5x114.3 bold pattern, 40mm offset.

These have the same diameter hub as my volks, so i can use the same 73.0 x 64.15 konig centering rings.
