While I was working as a Toyota Salesman (don't ask) a friend of mine, Rico, had an unfortunate encounter with a tree in his 2001 Prelude....he had aftermarket wheels on it at the time, and his stockies with original tires that had about 8k miles on them were sitting in his apartment taking up space. After getting him a sweet deal on a 2003 Celica GT-S, he sold his old rims to me for a song....i think he felt a bit bad about wrecking a car i'd worked on so much (I still say we shoulda ganked those Tiens back, Rico...) ...anyway, thanks to Rico I finally have some all-season tires for the R, it's very first set. These served me well during the winter of 02/03, and should do so agian next year. The OEM tire size is 205/50 R16, which is kinda big for a Type R, but it relaxes it a bit and isn't bad for highway cruising (counteracts the effect of ATS FD a bit, of course the speedo says less than you're doing on this wheels, which is bad.)
