OEM Cruise Control
Mad props to Matt for wheelin and dealin with the friendly folks at Import Auto Salvage in North Carolina, he managed to get us two full OEM cruise control setups for a fraction of what Acura would charge us. Both have been installed, and both are functioning perfectly. Matt really got everything together to make this as painless as possible, and his wiring harness and electrical work rival what came with the car, so I can rest easy knowing things were done right. We both served our share of time lying on our backs (Matt a little more of a fair share), with that uncomfortable FRICKING bar in our spines, feeling like the T-Rex must have felt with its useless forearms (work under your dash for 20 minutes to experience this joy.) For the next such project, we will hire a limber midget, and after his we learned that a floruescent worklight burns much less hair than an incandescent model. Since most of the real work was figuring everything out on his car, I'll refer you to his page for tons of pics of all the various goodies HERE. But here's a picture of my actuator, which is now my long-trip co-driver.
