Well, the last event at North Hills till the fall season (the lot we use belongs to a public pool, so when they open we scurry elsewhere) was another lovely day...a bit warmer than past events, and somewhat humid and overcast, but only a few raindrops were felt. On the Type R front, we're now up to four, as another yellow showed up to take first place in G-Stock...the more the merrier! It was a short course again this week, with most competitive times below 30 seconds, and no shifting for most of the stock guys... I miss the longer 45-60 second courses, but with nearly 150 cars running each weekend, shorter courses do allow for fun-runs and such. I felt a little better about my performance this weekend, but I'm still not breaking any records in the R... thanks to some great analysis by Matt I've noticed that I've become dependant on the Limited-Slip to get me through a corner, when a better line and a less-forced steering angle would probably be faster...so that's something to work on next weekend in Steubenville. I'm also getting sick of street tires, it'll be nice to get the Kumhos on so I can start gunning for Matt's times. Matt had a series of very nice runs, still nipping at the heels of Andy's CRX, but posting some very nice times...and he managed to STOP a spin before it got out of control! We're all a little freaked out by this, but the world has survived greater shocks...without further adieu, the massive barrage of pics! Check out the results Right Here.

Registration was cut off at 150, and the racers are chomping at the bit!

Karen's Corvette was suffering from a case of brake-itis...she drives too fast, and the car is getting so scared that it's started locking it's own calipers!

Lots of limited-slip action on the Rs, a very serpentine course

Ryan has become a Jedi of RWD power slides.

It occurs to me that matt and i have a monochromatic thing going on with the clear corners, while the Phoenix Yellow guys have embraced the middle of the light spectrum.

Andy continues to rely on older technology and evil magic to beat the snot out of Matt. And evil cheater Hoosier tires! Well, we could have them too...but they're SOOO expensive, especially in 15s!

I still marvel at how immaculate this CRX is. Yup, gotta be the dark magic.

Where do you keep the Photon Torpedos in a miata?

Andy, kickin ass.

Some fine Japanese Motorcars.

And the nice thing is, if the asphalt turns over spontaneously and all that's left is a muddy mess, it's ready to rally!

Andy has a sense of humor about besting all the VTEC guys

I'm completely out of comments, save one;

Is the propeller a deep-puddle rally option?
